Worldreach Foundation is proposing to create an online virtual school specially designed and customized for
the Yukon, adhering to the BC curriculum and including culturally relevant/engaging material for First
Nations learners  --  accessible to anyone, anytime, and anywhere (
without having to leave home).

While students must complete required tasks and process pertinent information, the learning instruments we
are creating are interactive and attention-grabbing, while allowing students to proceed at their own
comfortable pace, in conjunction with, or separate from, regular classes.

Courses can include instruction in local languages like Tlingit or Tagish.  Course materials can be created
with the input of Band Offices and community members embracing a participatory approach to
education/development.  This empowers people at the local level to take responsibility for helping to address
the appropriate education of society with useful skills and knowledge.

Touchscreen interfaces, teleconferencing, uploadable videos, books, and magazines, interactive games and
puzzles, and much much more are available to students in our virtual educational environment.  This can
include home schooling, adult education, college/university courses, trades, special interest courses, and
crafts.
